So we took some local figs, local as in right out of our back yard, and cooked them in a red wine blend with fresh rosemary and basil. We then topped some vanilla ice cream with a few spoonfuls and ooohhh man!!! <enter licking lips emoji here> The result = you better hurry up and grab yours before fig season is over. This jam won't be available again until September 2022.
Also great on morning toast, waffles, and as a glaze for ham, pork chops, and even chicken and roasted cauliflower.
